One of the most important variables I will need to control is the location of my sampling sites. To do this accurately I will need to take note of where I collect my samples from the first time in order to emulate it during my later sampling.
I will also need to control the amount of water/soil I collect just in case this would have an effect on the results.
I will also try to control the time of day that I collect my samples, as once again this could have an effect on my results.
