I have almost completed my first lot of testing from my selected site and I am seeing some interesting results in my data. As a whole, the water is much cleaner than I expected it to be, as all three samples recorded low results for turbidity testing and all three samples had a pH level of either 7.5 or 7.6. Despite this my sample from the middle of the wetlands is showing the most variety in results, despite the fact that it is from the same the same pond as my Arguimbau St site. The soil samples showed that this site had the greatest salt content and the most acidic pH. The phosphorus testing also showed that this site had the greatest phosphorus level (only minimally). I am unsure to what could be affecting these results and I am interested to see whether the results will be the same in my next round of sampling.

careful, it's PHOSPHATES, not phosphorus!
ReplyDeleteI'm also curious to see what your next round of samples will yield...
